Research Coordinator Chrissy Taylor presents new AESHA research at 'Sex Work & HIV' forum hosted by Island Health and PEERS Victoria

On November 28, 2014, PEERS Victoria and Island Health hosted a forum on 'Sex Work & HIV: Research, Prevention and Treatment' in Victoria. GSHI Program Coordinator Chrissy Taylor attended to present new GSHI research from the AESHA Project on sex workers and HIV.

"The presenters will examine the socio-cultural factors that can put sex workers at increased risk of exposure to HIV compared to other populations. Our speakers will discuss and explain research, prevention strategies, and support services, taking into account race, sexuality, gender, socio-economic status, and a variety of other important factors."
