Research backs safer work spaces for those in the sex trade

VANCOUVER - There's another push to create safer work spaces for sex trade workers.

A new study suggest such spaces could better protect street-based prostitutes from violence and disease. Researchers interviewed 39 women who once worked on the street and are now living in supportive housing where their clients can be monitored.
