Director Dr. Kate Shannon and members of the GSHI team were featured as part of Research2Reality, a groundbreaking initiative that shines a spotlight on world-class scientists engaged in innovative and leading edge research in Canada. In the interview, Dr. Shannon highlights the disproportionate impact of the HIV epidemic on marginalized communities, including youth, sex workers, migrant women, Indigenous and racialized communities, and women globally and presents evidence in support of the decriminalization of sex work to improve the health, safety and human rights of sex workers worldwide.
