Sex Workers Rights Are Human Rights: GSHI's Dr. Kate Shannon offers support for Amnesty International draft sex work policy in the Huffington Post

In a post featured today on the Huffington Post, GSHI's Director Dr. Kate Shannon, Anna-Louise Crago of the University of Toronto, and Dr. Chris Breyer of the IAS, offer evidence in support of Amnesty International's draft policy on sex work advocating for decrimialization. From the article, 'Sex Workers Rights Are Human Rights':

"As a leading light in defending human rights globally, Amnesty International could play a fundamental role in improving the lives and working conditions of sex workers by adopting a policy clearly stipulating that decriminalization is essential to human rights."

The policy will be discussed and voted on at the International Council Meeting to be held August 7-11 in Dublin, Ireland.
