GSHI Co-authours Community Report and Legal Analysis with Pivot Legal Society and Sex Workers United Against Violence (SWUAV)

Pivot Legal Society, in partnership with SWUAV and GSHI, drew on the recent findings of a newly published peer reviewed report in the British Medical Journal (BMJ) Open by GSHI's Krusi et al., entitled 'Criminalisation of clients: reproducing vulnerabilities for violence and poor health among street-based sex workers in Canada: A qualitative study', to inform an analysis of the constitutionality of a prohibition on the purchase of sexual services. The resulting community report and legal analysis is titled 'My Work Should Not Cost Me My Life: The Case Against Criminalizing the Purchase of Sex In Canada.'
